This will vary depending on your surgeon but a lot of the basics will remain the same.

Please make sure to follow your surgeon’s advice in relation to immediate aftercare.<\/p>

From my own recovery I was advised to avoid showers for at least 2 weeks and instead just have a shallow bath every day while adding some salt to aid in recovery and fight any possible infection.
This also included the days when I still had my bandages on. I was able to remove them after 3 days in a warm bath using the water to help soak the bandages off.

I was also advised to avoid any sexual activity including masturbation for 4 weeks, this bit wasn’t fun but needs must.<\/p>

I found it helpful to wear briefs instead of boxers to help support everything while you recover after 2 weeks I found I didn’t need that anymore and reverted back to boxers. I would avoid wearing anything too tight like jeans as you will be swollen up and while not painful it is sensitive so anything to stop any rubbing is preferred<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

It’s a fact that all men regardless of age experience erections during the night there is no defined number but most men have between 3-5 a night. This is a sign that everything is working well and is nothing to worry about.\u00a0<\/p>

After a circumcision, though this may not be fun from other accounts I’ve read about, I didn’t really have this issue due to my choice of a loose style. Basically, for a week or 2 after the operation, you may get woken up by an erection pulling at your stitches. this can’t be helped and the best way to mitigate this is by doing things like making sure you empty your bladder before bed and at any point in the night.
